Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can I participate in the training with my own motorcycle?
Many training participants want to use their own motorcycles for our courses. This is certainly possible. Your motorcycle must be street legal and suitable for off-road use (two-stroke engines are not permitted). Good standard enduro tires are sufficient. Your motorcycle must also be in perfect working order. You will need 50/50 tires, such as the Dunlop Trailmax Raid or comparable tires, to safely participate in our enduro training courses. If you have any questions, please contact us; we are happy to advise you.
-
Do you offer travel cancellation insurance yourselves, or can you recommend a provider?
We do not offer travel cancellation insurance ourselves. However, you can find a good offer with just a few clicks on comparison portals such as Check24.
-
Am I liable for damage to my rental motorcycle?
Damages exceeding €1,000.00 caused by the renter are the renter's responsibility and will be invoiced. Damages up to €1,000.00 are the responsibility of the lessor. Damage to the motorcycle or personal injury resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the renter is the renter's sole responsibility.
-
Will my training session still take place even in bad weather?
Our training sessions generally take place in all weather conditions. However, in extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a training session. In this case, we will try to find a suitable alternative date together with the participant.
-
Where is the meeting point and when should I be there?
The meeting point and registration for all training sessions is the barracks in the immediate vicinity of the training grounds: ENDURO CENTER MAMMUTPARK Yorck-Straße 5 37603 Stadtoldendorf. We will meet there no later than 8:30 a.m., the training will then start promptly at 9 a.m. and end around 4 / 4:30 p.m.
-
What equipment or protective clothing do I need?
To participate in our training courses, you need complete motorcycle protective gear, including a motorcycle suit with protectors, helmet, gloves, and sturdy motorcycle boots. This is crucial for your safety; "normal" boots are generally not sufficient. Participation in the training is not possible with insufficiently robust motorcycle boots. You can also rent motorcycle boots from us in all sizes. Ideally, please contact us before your training course, as the number of boots available is limited.
-
Do I need a motorcycle license?
To participate in any of our training courses, you need a valid motorcycle license (class A or A2). Please bring this with you to your training; it will be required upon registration on the (first) day of training.
-
How is catering arranged during training, is it included?
Lunch, including one non-alcoholic beverage (per training day), is included in the price of our enduro training courses. For snacks, fruit, granola bars, and water are available throughout the day, as well as coffee in the afternoon.
