FIRST AID OFF-ROAD - The course concept
Are you an enduro rider, a motorized long-distance traveler, or a mountain biker?
With our course "FIRST AID OFF-ROAD“We are addressing everyone who likes to spend time off paved roads and generally in nature – whether for leisure or professional reasons.”
Nobody wants it - and yet an emergency can happen to anyone.
With this course, we want to take away your fear and helplessness in emergencies and prepare you for these special emergencies with practical training.
The teaching content of the individual teaching units is:
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) in emergency situations (emergency call, rescue points in the forest, who does what in an emergency, apps for emergency calls)
- Dealing with unconsciousness (finding a person, checking breathing, dangers of unconsciousness, positioning (side position))
- Treatment of wounds and injuries (explanation of different wounds/injuries, pressure bandage (classic/bandage) -> on different parts of the body)
- Handling of tourniquets (When is tourniquet application performed, Where is tourniquet application performed, Duration of application, CAT 6 / 7 tourniquet application, Improvised tourniquet application)
- Heat retention (Why heat retention, use of emergency blankets, improvised heat retention, active heat retention (Ready-Heat) (showing other possibilities))
- Rescuing and pulling injured persons (1 person dragging, 2 person dragging, use of rescue blanket (carrying ring / backpack / pulling), use of webbing sling (carrying ring / backpack / pulling), 2 person carrying technique, carrying sheet)
- Resuscitation/Special Emergencies (Resuscitation 1 and 2 persons after ERC, Stroke (Recognition / Measures), Heart Attack (Recognition / Measures))

The course fee is EUR 149.00. A Lunch is included in the price and for a quick snack, fruit, muesli bars and water are available all day to quench your thirst, as well as coffee. The number of participants is limited to 12 people.The course starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.
The "FIRST AID OFFROAD" course is held in our training rooms in the former barracks, Yorck-Str. 5, 37627 Stadtoldendorf, or in our "Welcome Center" on the grounds of the Mammutpark in cooperation with MedicGate GmbH.
